One kit will it do ok on it's own? thanks

My rabbit had eight until we got below freezing agian and seven died I have one remaining I been keeping inside and today it seems to be cool to the touch currently I have it in my shirt trying to warm up while I heat up a towel. Can it survive without litter mates or not? And if so what do I need do to help it

I have trouble with singles keeping their body temperature regulated. I have never had great luck with singles, especially in the winter. If I have other litters I usually try to foster them. I feed the original mother doe little bits if mint and sage to help dry her up and prevent mastitis and re-breed.

Unfortunately sortly after this the mother end up accidntly kicking the kit and it didn't survive.

I am hoping my last doe that due does better however it's going g to be her first so I am not going to go one way or the other just hope. So far she already used all the hay I give her to improve her nest. The two does that litters died i will re breed and my daughter has decide she wants a bunny for a pet. So she getting my oldest doe snowball who is three so and I will continue to breed her until she show signs of not handling It well .figure another year might be all I have.
