Chillin' with the herd
Once again I drove 3 1/2 hour ONE WAY to pick up my feed.
I can't settle for what is offered in the local feed stores and want to get a better price than 12 -13 dollars for processed bakery leftovers. (I want the good whole grains for my 4 legged and 2 winged friends).
I have looked and looked online for a place to custom mix for me. There is a place relatively nearby (Ventura Grain) but they will only mix 3 tons of one thing at a time.
I usually have 1/2 ton goat feed, 1/2 ton chick starter, & 1 ton layer custom mixed for me at R & R Writes in Lanesboro, MA (Can't get further west), but I'm in Plymouth (can't get further east).
There HAS to be some farm (or something) somewhere closer who could do this service!
Any leads would be greatly appreciated. It was almost $200 in fuel!!
