Hope this is in the right place, I just wanted to see what everyone's opinions are on these guys. Be honest, I will do my best to have a thick skin.
This one is like 2 years old I think, (don't ask me breed, I have no idea)

And this one is probably around a year old,

And I'm going to guess this one to be somewhere around 6-8 months,

(sorry I don't have a better pic of that one)

There is also a calf I wanted opinions on, but I'll make him his own post.

I deal with dairy but, here is my opinion.

The first bulls backline could use work. His rump is higher than the rest.

The second one's hind leg set is to straight causing his legs to be behind him some--unless it's just the way you caught him in the pic.

The third one doesn't look to bad.

The forth one appears to be good but, neither of the pics show his leg set.

They are all nice and beefy looking and all in all not the worst. Remember there is no perfect cattle. ;)

Well, you know I like the first one, but I have to agree with Kitty on the back line.

I don't like the way the way the second one is acting in the pictures, to 'watchy" for such a young bull.

The third one is nice, could use some more meat on his bones!

I like the 4th one.

The "watchy" is probably because he wasn't were he was supposed to be and he really wanted back w/ the other cows. He wasn't to sure about me and wanted to be sure he kept an eye on me and I didn't get to close! Either that, or I don't really understand what you mean by watchy. He was starting to turn to get away from me in the first pic, so I backed off him a bit (I took the other pic first).

Bulls have a way of watching you that usually occurs when they are older and questionable temperament.

1. This one is like 2 years old I think, (don't ask me breed, I have no idea)

He needs more groceries, either that or he looks to lack capacity around the heart girth and abdomen, but he is quite long which probably adds to the optical illusion of lacking capacity. He's got a more "cowy" look to him in his head than a bullish, with a kinda defined masculiny hump on him. His sheath don't look to great, could be tucked up a little more. But other than that, he definately needs more conditioning in order to be a proper breeding bull. Can't see his testes so can't make a comment on them. His legs look fine from the way the picture puts him. The shoulders look to be broke-behind, not all that smooth.

Two words: steer him. Why? Because he looks to be way more like a steer than an actual bull at that age. A yearling should show a bit more masculinity than he does. Plus he's too short in the barrel and spine area, as well as post-legged.

This is a youngster with a bit more potential. He would show his true conformation as he gets to be a yearling. He looks not too bad, good topline and legs, but the bottom photo makes him look a bit short in the body in comparison to the top bull. But that could change as he gets older. I'm not too much of a fan of his sheath, and his heart girth seems a little pinched. He's got gut capacity, though, that's easy to spot.

That's what I thought she ment, this one was out and when I went to put him in he went into my calf's pen (you can see her legs between his) I'm not as close to him as it looks, I cropped the pic. He was just wanting back w/ the other cows and when I moved closer to him he moved away (that's what's happening in the first pic).

I'm pretty watchful of the bulls, but I didn't feel at all threatened by this one.

I'm not offened, I did ask! Only the top one should be Brahman.

Ok, so here is the situation (note, when I say ours I'm actually talking about my mom's cows, but my cow is w/ hers, so the bull she uses will be the bull I use). Do to financial reason my mom majorly downsized, infact she was just about selling out (the original plan was to keep just one cow, plus mine of course), but she also ended up keeping 3 heifers and one bull calf! Of course this also ment she sold the bull. We just can't afford to buy a new bull right now, so I was hoping we could pick something that was already here to use until we are in a better place to buy something better.

The plan was to use the bull calf, he is the 4th one, and also my favorite! I picked him based on the cow's previous two (full brothers), but he's really not looking as much like them as I expected, and the problem is it looks like he's going to be horned, which I really don't want if I can help it (the last two were polled). My dad is about to send his bulls to the sale, so I thought I would see if there was anything worth trading for. But from you all I'm thinking no!

There is another problem, this red calf is a half brother to all the heifers! So I'm not sure keeping him is a good idea anyway. This is his mom if that makes any difference.

The top one is my dad's bull, I just posted him because I was currious! Hoped to learn something! Our cows are currently w/ him.
