Are you looking for NDs or Pymgys? Just does/doelings? I can keep an eye out for some for you.
Either breed would be fine, even a mix of the 2 would be fine. I would even like a fainter (haven't convinced DH on that yet though :hide)Prefer does/doelings too. If we could find a bred adult doe that would be great. We are willing to consider a doeling too though. I would be fine trying to bottlefeed one. I figure I'm home all day anyway I could handle bottlefeeding probably! I guess if I got a bottle baby or freshly weaned doeling it would be best to get 2 to make transitioning to our little herd easier. Right now our boys are 6 months old and always testing each other! I'd hate to get one little doe kid and see it get beat up constantly.

Right now I look on CL daily. I usually check WS, Greensboro and Charlotte sections. I have been checking the Raleigh area regularly too (at least once a week). I know we can't spend more than $100. We do not need anything registered. DH doesn't want to travel too far to get a new goat. We do not have a truck so hopefully what we get can fit in a metal dog crate. I guess if we really needed to we could borrow a truck for transport. I've been considering having my dad go with us if we get adult goats anyway so he can lok at the stock and give his opinon and help with transport if we need it (I haven't mentioned this idea to DH or my dad yet though :hide)

I told my dad too that if he ever has another bottle baby situation to let me know and we will take it on. If that happens I won't care what gender it is. Honestly if he got a bottle baby and we took it on, if it was a buck we could always sell it later if we didn't want to keep it. He had one baby he was bottlefeeding a few weeks ago but it didn't survive more than 24 hrs. I don't know the circumstances behind him making the decision to try bottle feeding that one since he is strictly a dam raised farm. My dad has a couple more does due then he will be done for a while with kidding. I'm also looking at my dad's kids that are born to see if he gets any does we are interested in purchasing.

Sure wish you were closer, I would make you a great deal on a 3 week old Fainter doeling.
