Overrun with beasties
The lady we picked up Pee Dee (our B&T Nubian buckling) and Flo (our Alpine/LaMancha doeling) from got up with me and said she had 2 tiny Nubian doelings that she was bottle feeding if I was interested. How could I resist these little faces? Plus, they are not related to Pee Dee. With bellies full, they weigh a whooping 7 pounds each at ~5 days old.
Her little girl had named one of them Star. We asked her why she named her that and she said, "Because her puts the stars in the sky like Jesus did." So, that name stuck! The other one is Carolina Jasmine, which is the SC state flower. We're calling her Jazzy for short.
Star (the darker colored one) also has 2 little spots - one on her back leg and one above her tail. Jazzy is the one with the lighter colored facial stripes. Both have solid ears.
