Leaving for Grandma's with the kids and one the way back home, we will be picking up the two sweeties. They are Nigerian Dwarves, three weeks old, bottle babies. We are so glad to have found them to keep our lonely single baby company (and Ben is ecstatic so I guess he is getting over the other baby not making it this week).

What do you think? I am having a hard time telling them from baby pygmies at this point but I suppose their body shape will look different as they grow.

Very cute!!

You should be able to see the differences when you have them side by side with your pygmy baby. Even as kids the pygmies are shaped more cobbly and the NDs are more ...hmmm.....how do I say it....I guess I would say the ND kids have a more "graceful" and feminine sleekness to their lines as kids... hope that makes sense
As they grow you might find yourself worrying about the ND kids not getting enough food because they just look leaner too...I had that issue when I got my first ND after having pygmies.

Have fun!

You were sooo right! Next to each other, there is a definite difference in body style. The 2 week old pygmy is a lot bulkier than the 3 week old NDs. They look like tiny deer :love
