So I just started raising ducks this year. Its been about a year now having them. Its a great experience.
I don't have a ton of ducks yet. And some of them aren't egg layers yet (youngish).
But...the one peking girl I has keeps laying really big eggs with 2 yolks in them often.
This makes me wonder if this is a trait that peking ducks have more than others to happen and occur? What do you think?
It did take my peking girls longer to lay eggs than my other ducks. But my other ducks don't lay double yolk larger eggs. Only the peking girl does. (Granted its not every day but its happening maybe 3 to 5 times this month alone.)
It made me curious if others have noticed if certain breeds are more likely to do this more than others?
