I bought this yearling heifer about a month ago. She is just a year, a March or April calf. When I bought her she was rather thin, but had a fairly large belly and I asked the guy if he thought she could be PG. He said No, I don't think so and if she was she wouldn't be that far along.
When I got her home I wormed her thinking the belly could be from worms. I didn't see any change, and then thought maybe the belly was just a hay belly from poor hay and no grain. I have been giving her cattle cake and some sweet feed along with all the hay she wants and she has been putting on weight nicely, you can still feel her backbone and ribs, but she is in much better shape than when I got her, but that belly just keeps getting bigger.
She is not bagging up, and if she got bred at 6m she would be due about June or July. Photos don't really show how big she is, any thoughts?

If she is bred, the bull was a Jersey, I know they have smaller calves, but I'm a little worried about her having a calf when she's so young

She could very well be bred. It's not uncommon for heifers that young to be pregnant already or even younger. It's even possible she's in later gestation than what the previous owner knows she's in. And it's also very possible he never even knows or knew she's been bred. Happens more than you think!
