Just wondering how close or far apart related pigs should be before you can consider breeding them to one another.

Depends what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to recreate certain characteristics? Just breeding for meat?

Unlike the myth that will tell you that if yo breed too close you run the risk of getting two headed or three legged pigs nothing could be further from the truth BUT if you breed close (for example brother/sister) & are going to sell some as breeding stock you MUST cull hard & only the sell the best, eating the rest.
