pokeweed toxic to pigs?

i have a friend who lost two pigs this week and no idea why. only thing out in the pen is some pokeweed and something else i forget. i have been reading pokeweed is toxic to all mammals if the stem is eaten.. has anyone had a problem with this stuff with pigs? i looked out in my pen and i have lots of it out there too! so now im in a panic if i need to get rid of it or not..

i had it in with my horses and they never touched it either. also, my sheep and cow have been able to get to it and they dont bother with it either. im not sure ill be able to remove it all, there alot of it and in a thicket im not sure i can get thru.. :/ do you think they will eat it?
my friend looked at the plants and none of them looked touched, though i know that doesnt mean for sure they werent.

We lost about 8 piglets to Wild Cherry berries a few weeks ago. Couldn't understand why these piglets were keeling over. We knew the leaves of the tree were poisonous but as they weren't falling yet didn't worry too much! At first we thought it was a disease but then saw the healthy piglets cleaning up the berries under the tree, looked up the symptoms & it all made sense! Oops!

I don't know about pokeweed.

i will google wild cherry berries.. looks like the pigs are back to jail today until i get that stuff out of there. that will not be an easy/fun task at all!!
