I have 2 Pygmy wethers. I have them in a house with an outside fenced in area for now but I would like to get some fencing so I can have them forage safely in different areas.

What is the best fencing for pygmy goats? Height, type I was looking at the Portable electric netting from Premier 1 but am not sure if it would work.

Again I would like something easy to take down and move so I can have them in different areas.

Any and all opinions and experiences would be great.

You can get goat panels at TS that have smaller holes than standard cattle panels. You can use fence posts for the 4 corners and have a movable 16x16 pen. You would need some kind of shelter to move around with them.

I use the Electro net from Premier and have never had a problem. Mine are boers and kikos so they are bigger than your pigmys. The only time I have had an escape is when I was trying to catch one. Being chased around seems to motivate them to jump it.

I use the electro net too and have a solar charger so it is completely portable. Setting it up does take me a little time to adjust it so there is no sag. Be sure to buy several extra posts.

If you do use the netting I recomend putting T-posts outside the corners and tie the net to them (without the net touching the post) to support the corners. It works much better with good solid supports at the corners.

And get a really HOT charger. I use a solar one so I can put it anywhere.
