Hi everyone. I have had goats for about 9 months now. I have nigerian dwarfs. 3 does and one buck and they have been kept together. I've been watching my goat Jenny. She has never kidded before according to previous owners. She has definitely developed an udder. I am working in the barn building new stalls (hoping I can get a kidding stall done in time). Any thoughts on when she is due? I am learning and reading as much as I can but sometimes other goat owners are a better source. Thanks again. this was yesterday.

IF she’s pregnant and it’s not just a precocious udder, I’d say she’s due VERY soon, within two weeks but more than likely within this week or even a couple of days.

Yep, udder shows close to due. It'll tight a little more, check it daily. I'd guess anytime within a couple weeks also.

Oh wow thank you for your response. We are currently building a birthing stall in our barn. Looks like we had better get it done soon! I’ve been reading about precocious udder. They just keep us guessing.
