Im sure thats exactly how it is going to be, thats the way it was with my chickens. 3 turned into 8, 8 + a rooster turned into ........?, Plus guineas, turkeys, ducks, pheasants and quail.

I thought of another question.

I live between 2 different places, School is in Georgia and the Farm is in North Carolina. I have room for goats at both locations however I travel between both places frequently. How well do goats Travel? How large of a Crate would I need for two pygmys or Nigis? If they had a "place" at both locations would they be stressed if I traveled with them?

We've got one goat that loses her mind when we uproot her, but she's our wild one. The rest just jump in the back of our Jeep Grand Cherokee and go, pretty much like our dogs do. As long as they are together I wouldn't think it would be too big a deal to have 2 homes for them. I am not the expert here though, so someone with more goat experience may tell you different.

I am told that goats don't do well in the back of pickups, etc where a lot of wind will blow on them. I don't know this to be a fact, but I have had 2 different breeders with long term experience tell me this. Again, someone with more goat experience feel free to chime in on this........

Hope you have fun with your goats!!!
