I have a surplus of pumpkins and cabbage.

Is it ok for goat treats?

They are currently eating browse, grain and hay. Just wanted to make sure the pumpkins and cabbage would not make them sick.

My little herd loves pumpkin. I just cut it in half with an axe and feed it. They always scoop all the yummy seeds out first. Cabbage is gassy But very good for them fed in small amounts. There is a bacteria that may live in cabbage leaves that is particularly good for your bucks and wethers. Oxalobactor formigenes is a probiotic bacteria that can tranfer to the animals gut. It is important in breaking down oxalates and escorting them from the body. There is still contraversy about the issue.
