Chillin' with the herd
We had quads again for the second time this year. First four were 3 girls and a boy. This time there three boys and a girl! My FF gave me twin girls and a single girl. All in all a fruitful season.
last night about 7:30 I heard an different noise on the baby monitor and went out to find my doe sitting in the corner with two large bubbles one on each side. I grabbed for the first one and got it out of its sack and breathing and then did the same with the second. It looked like she had them one on top of the other rather quickly. When she stood another bubble came out with baby number three. I called to hubby over the monitor for help and he came right out. When I told him, " We have triplets."
He said, " I don't thinks so, there's another bubble." Out came number four! She had them quickly and they all started moving right away. The two small ones were 2# and 2 1/2# and the bigger ones were 3 1/2# and 4#. This morning they were already jumping around with lovely full bellies.

WOW, is that normal in Goats. I've only seen a few Goat kids in my time but can't imagine so many at one time.
