How long after the babies born can I start milking the doe? I just built a nice milking station and am ordering milking supplies. Super excited about the milk!!!

You can start milking the day they kid, but the milk will be mostly colostrum. The reason for milking on kidding day would be if you bottle feed your kids, or if you have a third kid that is bottle fed or weak, or if you want to increase production from the getgo.

But the average is to start milking at week two or three.
