My 3 week olds know when a human is around, its feeding time... I have managed to get away with pining the momma to a wall and letting them nurse from her(she does ok as long as I give her grain) but they will jump up or headbutt legs as I let them out of their pen and into hers.( separated for safety, since she has NO love for them,)
But, I want to not have the headbutting and jumping up on us people... (they have had a few bottles)

So what can I do to train them? :) They are our first kids, the momma and daddy were 8 weeks and older when we got them,

I'm not sure what you set up is but you could either try a squirt bottle (hold it behind your knee and get them when they try to butt) Or just try making that transition more structured. AKA lead them by the collar at a walk to mum. This would serve the double purpose of teaching them to lead and keeping them from butting... I'm not sure but my guess from your description is that this isn't aggressive it is just the babies rushing through and not noticing.. In this case I'd definitely do the leading because if they aren't paying attention in the first place then they won't "get" why they are being squirted....

Hope that helps!
