I've read articles of how to keep the lighting just right in the winter so that the rabbits will mate and produce kits. Do you have any examples of this concept in the article? Or a website to research further? :)

I am not in rabbit business but i am thinking to jump into. as I like rabbits and i want to replace them from chicken.

I can answer u from poultry experience as the lightening span is kept constant to them so can they eat as much as they can. I think this can be applied to rabbits also :)

Shortening days affect rabbits less than chickens but it does have an effect, especially on molting time. You may also have less luck getting does to accept a buck in the fall than at any other time of the year.
