We have a Jesery Woolly buck and our freinds have a Jersey Wooly doe. Well the doe is staying at our house for awhile and I was wondering how many times a day should we put them both in the same cage? We put them togather twice today (for 5 mins a time) for the first time and I'm sure he got her both times cuz he fell off when he was done. And how many days should we keep breading?

Im not sure about other people, but I put them togher once ,then after he falls off I sperate them and I usually never put them back after that , and havent had any problems , I have had a litter every time .

One time I did leave them over night but thats only cause they grew up togher and didnt fight .
Sorry I wasnt that helpful :hu

Only one. You put her in with him and let him "do the deed" two to three times and then take her out. If you want, you can put her back in 8 hours later the same day. After that, don't put her in again. Rabbits have two "horned" uteruses, think of it like the letter "Y". They can get pregnant in both horns at different times, even weeks between breedings. This can result in the loss of one or both sets of kits.
If he fell off twice, she is likely bred.
