I just got the email from mdga that Snowflake the mini met the requirements for her to get her production award and will now be *Registered Name* Snowflake *P.
Unfortunately Snowflake had a uterine infection this spring, and was treated and appeared to clear it, but this fall she has failed to settle to either ND buck I have, and on Sunday/Monday it will be 21 days since I need her to Aramis my standard buck. If she cycles back I doubt she's going to take ever going to take and I should probably go ahead and ship her with Iris next Wednesday. So it's bittersweet.

I've had the worst luck this year.

Thanks. I'm telling myself I'm starting a trail of production stars on each dam line for the progeny of those does. If Snowflake's daughter, Dinga, (kids named her) gets her production star she'll be Dinga 2*P from what I understand. So the work will not be a waste. Just very much not the way I wanted it to turn out.

Someone attempted to move into our cabin today. Problem is we didn't sell it. (we might be getting an offer today, or we WERE before this). They cut the lock off the gate, broke into the basement, couldn't get any farther, called the agent on the sign we had out front spitting mad, demanding key box code to the main house, informing the agent they rented it from us and demanding us be contacted. Cops, real estate agents going nuts. Someones belongings getting moved out of the basement and being put...somewhere for them to collect after they ran off when the agent told them to get out and he was going to call the cops. This is so dumb.
💩
Calling spectrum and the utility now...

Utilities back in our name now.
They were either crazy squatters or scammed. I'm going to guess the latter. Either way, legally they have until Monday to get their stuff off the curb before our agent has her husband bring his dumpster and throws all their earthly and Christmas possessions away. :( Unfortunately the person making an offer wants to do one more walk through today before formally making it upping the unnecessary drama factor. GEEZE, when it rains drama it pours. We never had issues like these while living there and it really is a very quiet neighborhood. But you can't just tell someone that.

I'd say squatters - esp since they took off. It's a huge problem, and you're really lucky it was caught early. Around here if they are there for awhile THEY have the right to stay and you have to follow all the eviction crap. You a VERY LUCKY.
Fingers crossed the buyers are happy with the extra walk through and close the deal.
