I worked with Reina today. I saddled her and put the bridle on her. When I worked her before, I put a short shank snaffle on her. Today I used a medium port curb bit with a copper roller.

She was pretty snorty at the saddle, but stood well. I walked beside her, turned her to the right and left and whoa. I walked her down the driveway and down the road.

Then back to our driveway and I took the bridle off and let her graze.

She had a good day.

I’ve worked and worked with Reina but she was still so spooky that she wasn’t safe to let my granddaughters in the pen with her, much less ride her. I put almost 2 years into her and more money than I care to admit. I finally ran an ad and sold her. I just couldn’t trust her with my granddaughters.

I'm sorry that it didn't work out but you certainly made the best decision. The safety of those precious Grands is top priority & a horse that you can all enjoy together will be such a joy. Are you going to look for another?

I’m not looking now. Once I have the whole place fenced and proper barns, maybe. Money spent on horse could have gone towards barn, fence. Oh well.
