Hi All,

Thanks to your urging, I took Annie and Falicia to the large animal vet in our area. He listened to Annie's lungs, took her temp (104) and said she was sick with a respritory infection and gave her a strong antibiotic shot. He also vaccinated both goats. I feel much better now.

I am so glad I took them in.

:thumbsup Good job getting them in!!
What vaccine? Did he start the PHM? Did he send you home with more anti-biotics?

The vet gave them both a 4 in 1 vaccine, Tetnus being one of them. I am doing a follow up in 2 weeks. We are in a very rural area, and there are a lot of goats around here, as well as cattle, swine, and horses. I am taking a fecal sample in as well. I feel that his is a practice devoted to larger animals. Another vet reccomended him.

Thanks again,

Donna

Glad to hear everything should be fine. Good to take a fecal in as well. Sounds like your goats should be just fine. :celebrate
