San Clemente Island Goats

well I have found some San Clemente island goats. Like Spanish they are very hardy I hear.

my question is I really am looking for pet goats to keep the weeds down. what am I asking for if I get a breeding pair? I am not sure I am ready lol.
I found a few young males i can wether and a female that is not breeding quality to hang with them.
or I can get a breeding pair from someone else.
just wanting some opinions

That really depends on you. If your not sure if your ready to deal with the mating and milking, not to mention the care and medical wellbeing of the babies and all that goes with it . Then definitely go with a couple of fixed pets. You can always get into the other later down the road as you feel ready too...
