My Annabelle once again has what I call pudding poop.....She and Patti both had it in the fall- come to find out that we have oak trees in their pasture and well - they were eating the acorns. My neighbor gave them both a shot of LA200 and it cleared. Well, Annabelle has it and Patti does not - of course no acorns around right now. In cruising around looking for info there are two crumbles that say they work for treatment as well as prevention - Corid and Deccox. I'd prefer to use some kind of crumble if it would be effective rather than shots of LA200. Any thoughts appreciated.

LA 200 (oxytet), Corid, and Deccox are all meant for different things. If you suspect cocci and are looking for a treatment then DiMethox is what you're after. Deccox crumbles are intended as prevention, or at least to keep soil loads down. Oxytet is an antibiotic and won't affect your parasite load.

It sounds like you may have posted another thread, but how old are your goats?

I know people have had varied experiences with acorns, but they've never caused mine to scour.
