wow its true you learn SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY..
was doing a bit of research on poisonous plants and came across this link

I know you have to give selenium to goats or live stock but too much is toxic???...it only seems to list 1 plant but interesting reading

Yeah, too much Selenium is definitely toxic. In the US, one of the few places with a ton of Selenium in the soil is the Dakotas...which is why I try to buy my hay locally.

I know that sounds odd, but if I buy shipped-in hay, how am I to know that it didn't come from the Dakotas, right? At least if I buy local, I'm going with the devil I know...
