Never even gave it a thought for my own safety, well kinda. But my concern was for Sentry because he doesn’t quit. When the snake headed for me, I stomped it before Sentry grabbed it again. I got 2 sticks and threw it over the fence, then the piece Sentry had. I praised him and watched him for awhile and he had no reaction. Glad he wasn’t bit, he would have been dead before I could get him to the vet.

Sentry works the field. He makes rounds, checking everything out, chases off buzzards and other birds of prey. Except for stealing newborn lambs (they die) he’s the perfect dog. After lambs are up, clean and dry, he would defend them with his life. I love my Sentry.
