Sentry, Baymule’s Livestock Guard Dog RIP 11-11-24

I turned a turtle loose today. I’ve had him almost a week! Sentry had the turtle, he’s learned to tip them sideways so he can bite them. It looks like a big hamburger bun in his mouth. He laid down with his prize, to eat it. I got it away from him, put it in a bucket, intending to haul it off. Next day was church. Came home, fixed lunch, took a nap, woke up, went outside and it was cold and getting colder.

Obviously I couldn’t relocate a cold blooded turtle now! So he’s been in the utility room while temperatures went down on the 30’s. It was 42F this morning, sunny and high of 71F.
So I let him go a couple of miles from here.

Dogs only get sick from treats you give them. Dogs who steal whole chickens off the sink meant for your family's dinner never have a problem with chicken bones. LOL
