We are getting ready to permanently erect our bunny run. Our bunnies are kept indoors but this is for their exercise. I am asking for suggestions of what we could use naturally to deter bugs. Mostly mosquitoes. I have read certain mosquitoes can make rabbits sick. The mosquitoes are very bad because of the wet weather and lousy township water runoff planning.

Any suggestions would be appreciate. Note: We do not use fertilizer on our property at all. It's always been natural.

And working to a future of a garden with BUNNY POWER!

Thanks.

I rub fresh catnip on my body to keep them away and I hang it in my rabbit area since it is outdoors. I know I rarely get bit when using catnip, but got biten alot using things like OFF.
Next year I plan on planting it around my rabbits to see how it works. I lso use fresh peppermint and the x-max tree car fresheners in "vanilla"sent only. That really helps with the flys. I change them out about every month.
