So this is my first winter with llamas and I’m just wondering if I should still let them out in there pasture or keep them locked in the barn.

I have 4 females

I don't have llamas but I know they come from the mountains in South America, where it gets quite cold. Like most animals, they know what is good for them. Why not leave the barn open so they can go in if they want or go out in the pasture? They will probably spend a lot of time in the pasture and go in the barn during storms or extreme cold.

Thank you! Yes I’ll leave the door open for them
