I have a dry Nubian yearling that I want to take to state fair this year. Can anyone tell me what the suggest feeding to prepare? She is currently on free hay and minerals, turned out to graze a few hours in the evening, and getting a 16% textured goat feed.

I was just saying it's hard to tell by a photo. You have to look past how wide they are and at the areas the video shows. You can have a goat with a big wide rumen, but who needs to gain weight. You have time. If she's just thin you have time to address that.

I feed any that need to gain twice a day instead of once and make sure they get a higher quality hay like alfalfa, peanut, etc. Some people will also add things like beet pulp, rice bran, or calf manna to their feed.

Agreed. It is hard to tell without putting hands on her but her topline looks sharp, like she might do well to gain a few pounds.
