Show Turkey Advice/Help

I have my first show turkey this year I was going to do a pig but unfortunately she passed a few weeks ago if you guys have any advice or link that would be helpful for a first timer it would be greatly appreciated :)

Make sure they stay small enough for commercial use. Our 4-H club all raised turkeys one year. They were the largest and best-looking birds in the ring. All DQed by judge. The judge agreed that they were the best BUT had to be DQed because THEY WERE TO BIG FOR THE COMMERCIAL MECHNICAL PLUCKERS!

Thanks for the tip I am going to be weighing them here soon so I can figure out if I need to hold them :)
