Showmanship tips please?

Hey,

I'm showing a mini horse tomorrow night. I've done it once before but it was at a much smaller show (just my 4-H club... maybe 12 kids?) but this one is a district show. Its not my horse, its a friends. But anyway I was hoping someone had some tips they could share for showmanship or anything else. I'll be in showmanship, trail and jumping with her.

Ask a teenage girl. They usually are the local experts on showmanship

Thanks. I had already planned to ask the owner when I got there.

I got 3rd in trail and 5th in halter. She wouldn't jump and in showmanship I swicthed which hand the lead was in. I show goats and when you change sides you put the lead in your other hand... didn't know you couldn't with horses.
