Some of my sheep have developed spots on the ear. They are small herd knots and maybe some hair loss. They are about half the size of a pencil eraser. First thought parasite's of some type, but not sure. I have posted a pic, but didn't turn out very good. Maybe it will help. 0216141722.jpg

Looks like it could be some sort of external parasite. I've never dealt with any of them so I'm not sure which one it could be. Is it only on the ears though? Any other hair loss on the body?

Only on ears. I figure parasite because one looks like it has rubbed on a post or tree and ear was bleeding a little. Not sure what to use.

We have had some 5 degree weather. I dusted them today for parasites and my spray later. Sure can't hurt I guess.

Noticed today a little hair coming off face just above the nose. May just be weather. Thanks
