I was out in the barn and one of our does was limping. It seems like it is up towards her shoulder. I check her hoof and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Should I be worried probably not. Should I separate her from the herd in a stall where she can still see her herd?

She may have just strained herself. They do that sometimes. I'd give her a day or two and she if she "walks it off". I don't think there's any need to separate her unless the others are being mean to her.

If I see a limp I always check their temperature. If their temp is fine and their feet are fine I wait it out and assume it was due to a strain, unless things change.

Went and check on them this morning and she is fine. So I am assuming it was a strain.
