My youngest lamb that we have been treating with antibiotics that gave us a scare four days ago and is back to normal now has something strange we noticed today when putting rubbing alcohol on her skin for her 4th shot...the inside of one thigh where there is little hair and the skin is pink...has a round marble sized lime green spot we've not seen before...what the heck could that be? Not warm or swollen and doesn't hurt her when we touch it...smooth skin like the rest there...but what could a round lime green spot come from????

Anyone have any ideas? Have looked online and I'm stumped :hu

I guess I've always thought a bruise would be a different colour...it isn't in an area where we have given her a shot. Just seems weird...skin isn't raised or feeling any different than the pink skin in the area...just a lime green little spot...hope it is nothing...but has to be caused by something?

Thanks all...with all the jumping around in and over the feeders, that is very likely since she misses sometimes...just never saw this before...something new all the time
