Stubborn goat let me listen

She is so fresh. Who you ask? My pregnant goat Sara. I tried so hard to listen to her belly last night with a stethescope She protested so badly so I got her some grain so I could listen. Well finally she let me for maybe 30 seconds. Then she threw another fit. But from the few seconds I did get to listen I heard I think 3 heartbeats. 1 was Sara I think cause it was really fast. Then I heard what sounded like 2 other heartbeats. I hope I am right. Don't know if she can have more than 1 cause her mom only gave birth to singles. So we will see. Wish she would hold still longer so I can listen better. And have my friend listen (she is a nurse and could tell better than me)

Usually the babies' heartbeats are faster. If naughty Sara would just let you listen to her heart first so you get her rhythm down then you can move the stethoscope down to the babies. I wish there was a magic way to make goats stand still when we want them too!
