Have any of the sheep people exp. this with their sheep.

My ram was the first that I noted with this issue. He sounds like his nose is stuffy. He has a small amount of dried green looking snot on his nostrils. His appetite is good and he is active. He has had this for many months. I have not attempted medicating yet.
But now several of my ewes are showing the same signs. Now I'm getting a bit nervous.

The lady I got them from does not do vaccine such as cd &t.
I am planning on doing it as soon as I get a catch pen built (black belly are not a friendly bunch). I do not know what their temps are either.

Has anyone else dealt with symptoms like this?

I'm looking forward to seeing someone experienced with this, too. I got two young ewes a little over a month ago, and they've both had snotty/runny noses off and on. It would seem to clear up, then come back. This weather hasn't helped I'm sure, swinging from cold and snowy, to warm days all the way up to the 70's and 80's. It was 80 degrees day before yesterday, it's snowing now.

I finally had the vet out Monday and he gave them Excenel (they had slightly elevated temps also), it cleared up but this morning (Saturday), the smaller one had a snuffly nose and a fair bit of green snot again. The other one lambed on Wednesday and I sure don't want the baby to get sick. Both ewes have been fine otherwise, eating and drinking and active, the lamb is doing well too.

alsea I wish you the best with yours too

I had a ram lamb exactly like you explain, and it continued for about three months, then he developed a bit of a fever on and off. Would periodicaly go of feed the last bit and started losing body condition, and act tired. I did a lot of phoning and looking things up and along with the vets, we discovered he had progressive pnemonia!!! I was intructed to give Nuflor and worm him with a wormer that got rid of lung worm! It was a complete turn around for him and he has been perfect ever since! Good luck!!! ;)

Thats great. That is treatable.
Thank you very much.
So far we have not reached the losing body condition or off feed yet.
Nuflor is a prescription drug right.
I plan to get right on it.
