Stupid Cows

We must have the most stupid or luckiest cows they somehow got ahold of the cord to their in tank water heater and chewed through the wires while it was plugged in. This isn't the first stupid thing they have done but I'll go into that later.

WOW! you are lucky... does anyone have a twitchy eye or teased up hair or hopping around out there moo-ing "i got juiced! i got juiced!"?

and now.. ugh.. i guess its you and a bucket of hot water in the morning, huh?

Can you check their mouth inside? I heard of a cow that got badly burned in his mouth, chewing cords.

If a bovine, any gender or age, can reach a cord, they WILL chew on it!! The folks I know, use a piece of PVC pipe, thickwalled, to run cords thru to prevent chewing on. Works for horses too, they are also bad chewers.

Anchor the PVC down firmly to the wall, side of water tank, so animals can't move it when they get bored. Seems to protect cords pretty well.
