I have acres of this stuff starting 20 ft from my house. I've read that the seeds and plants are food for wild ducks, geese, and rabbits among other animals and that it can be cut and used for livestock hay.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

It would certainly be an easy and available addition to summer and maybe stored winter food. I am looking at homegrown diets for 3 breeder meat rabbits, under 10 chickens and a pair of geese.
