swollen joint

My 4 month old female goat had a swollen joint from playing with our dog about 4weeks ago. I took her to the vet and he told me to give her asprin for a week and penicillin for two weeks. but her swollen joint is back. what should I do?? more asprin and penicillin or let nature run its course??

I would have her tested for CAE. It sounds like she may have it. I'm not sure why the vet didn't give you Banamine to inject for pain/inflammation. But if it was just an injury, then it really should have been down by now.
