Last night my husband and I had to pop a cyst like growth at the tip of my Mini Rex's pupice; while he was upside down, I noticed his teeth looked like they might be a little overgrown. I managed to get a pic; what do you guys think? If they are overgrown, is this considered a little or a lot and how do I help fix it? He has a wood shelter in his hutch, and a small branch for chewing too, he's eating his pellets fine, and the hay as well. Thanks!

If your rabbit has a good, well-made pellet, a chew stick, AND wooden cage parts accessible for chewing if desired, it will keep its teeth in check just fine. Nothing in your pic that would concern me.

My first rabbit had a jaw alignment problem. Although he had wood to chew on, his teeth never wore down properly. We had regular visits to the vet to have them clipped.

Whenever I had a rabbit in my laarge herd with too fast growing teeth that needed trimming... I used finger nail clippers to trim them to a normal leanth. After the rabbit regained body condition, I always culled them and any offsring as I found this condition to be inherited.
