Last night as I was getting ready for bed, I looked out the kitchen window and saw and big pile of white fur in the corner of the goat pen in front of the barn. I knew it was one of my Great Pyrenees LGDs but something looked. Wrong.
The dog seemed to be twisted around in a strange position. So I went out to investigate.
My big male, Junior was lying on his back, belly exposed. His back legs were propped up on the fence and the front ones were spread to the sides. His head was turned to the side and he had 3 goats lying next to him, resting their heads on his belly. It was ADORABLE!
Junior is still young and has not yet calmed down into a good LGD. He still tries to play with the goats too much. Last night gave my hope he just might work out after all.
That almost makes up for the rooster he ate yesterday.
