Tilled Field, New Pasture

If one were to simply "start over" with a field, till it and sew new seed to create cattle grazing land, is there a seed mix that combines the appropriate constituents (legumes and grasses) in the appropriate proportion, so only need plant everything all at once? A secondary question might be, is this too time consuming and not the best way to accomplish an ideal mix?

Since we have no way of knowing where you are located, I would suggest that you should contact your local county extension agent. A nearby farmer or rancher would also be helpful to give you advice.
