I purchased a pair of Mini Lops in October. The previous owner said that they were seven months old (or, rather, born in February.) I've been procrastinating. I meant to breed the doe in December, so that the bunnies would be ready for Easter, but now I'm a tad too late.

Nevertheless, I'm going to breed them today -- now or never. But I'm worried. Is the doe, at around 10 months, too old to breed? (She's never been bred before.)

no, she is not too old to be a first time mom, and you can still have easter babies if you breed her today!!!!

I recently breed a doe that was over 2 years, she had 3 kits, all doing fine. My other old doe missed, re bred her two days ago.
