I have Nigerian dwarfs they are purebred but my momma goat who I got is tall for a dwarf or atleast I think the buck she was bred to before I got her was even taller then her so here kids she already had are gonna be tall but I'm re breed her if I find a shorter buck an breed it too her will it knock some of that height down. This is her

If you breed her to a shorter buck, you might get smaller kids. Or, you might not. I've found Nigerians to not be very consistent in that respect.
I have a doe who is exactly 22.5 inches tall. I have a buck who is shorter and comes from a smaller line. I have bred them twice. Singles doe kid both years. First one is smaller. Second one looks like she is going to be as big as her mom.

She is 21.5 or bout 22 she is kinda skittish because when I first got her they never really messed with her but now she lets me rub her head and she follows me but she wasn't so sure bout the measuring tape
