We have found a Dexter cow that we are really considering purchasing... But she's got a torn ligament in her leg. She's had it for 2 years (she's 6 years old). The owner has had her checked out by a vet and claims that the vet says there's nothing he can do about it. She says the limp comes and goes. She's selling her for a discount because of her limp. What do you think?

A very big discount would sound better - If it was me then I wouldnt buy her but good luck in whatever you decide

I think it's a pretty good discount - she said she normally says her pregnant cows go for $650, but since this one has the limp she's selling it for $450. Does that sound good? (This cow is pregnant, due in July.)

Well, we've decided not to buy her. Keep on looking... Hopefully we'll be able to make a decision soon - it's taking such a long time!

If you are new to cows, then you really want to get the right one for you. You don't need to start out with any type of problems. Good luck with your search.
