My children run to the sink to spit out my Togg's milk. She's a month since kidding, what could be wrong? It tastes baaad!! And we love goats milk around here!!!
There is a year-old buck in with the herd. He's not bucky yet, but could he be making the milk taste off??
She's eating Dumor's sweet feed from TSC. Last year when her milk tasted good, we were using Poulin Sweet Feed.
She was wormed a few days after kidding. On her feed we add BOSS, beet pulp, and alfalfa pellets.

We're cleaning as usual and I have a fast cooling method s it's not that. ;)

It's because she's a Togg. Their milk is best for cheese making due to its stronger, sharper taste.

What is she on for pasture/browse? Doubt the buck is making that much of a difference.

This is her third year freshening for us and we've always drank her milk. It's the first time we've had a problem with the taste.;)

Some could be diet related. But I would bet on low grade mastitis.

A buck is only an issue if one has bad dairy practice. Beyond that it is an old wives tale.

I would be on low grade mastitis too. It's pretty easy to do a test and find out.

What do you mean by "bad dairy practice"?
