I hope this pic down loaded. Just bought 5 kinder does. They are all dry, but one has a swollen utter. Seller said it's fluid. I was aware of it, no fault to the buyer. Just wondering if there is a name or a cure for it , or does this just happen sometimes? They are. All health y and happy. Thanx for any info

I think it worked this time. I tried milking her a little. It was milk, not watery or pussy. But being my first time milking anything I was clumsy and she started getting impatient with me. Shud I keep milking a little each day? They've been grazing and browsing all day. It feels strange to milk,,,, but I have nothing to compare it to!

I am no expert but that is one huge udder for a dry doe.
I'm not sure what I would do. My first thought would be to milk her to relieve that pressure.

When is the last time she had kids? I agree that that is a big udder for a dry doe. It is possible that she is still in milk or that she came back into milk without being bred. I have one in milk after kidding 2 years ago. She came back into milk last year without being bred and has not dried up even after not being milked all winter. Milk her if you want milk; it can't hurt anything.

If the udder is healthy and the milk good, I would consider that a bonus!
