Looks like we're doing this after all.

2025 breeding groups & Name Theme

Lambing to happen between May & June. Bottle lambs available immediately. Weaned lambs available 8wks later, July through August. There is no wait list and no early reservations, all lambs are first come, first served. Lamb substitutions will not be allowed, as this has caused buyers to loose out on lambs early on and left other lambs unwanted in previous years.

Two spot related and one regular. There will be regulars, carriers and spotted.

Love the names!
When I got my first flock of chickens I had the names picked out long before the chicks were in the brooder.

Just a funny thought Crossing my mind: I can imagine someone buying Dustdevil & starting their own herd: Hoover, Dyson, Eureka, Roomba, Oreck, Shark, Upright, Canister, Handheld, Cordless 😅

A whopping 42+ sheep last spring for shearing, down to 28(?) this spring! Was filling in the shearing request form and had to recount a few times! Been awhile since it was just 28 sheep! And should be even less next spring!

13 days until rams are removed.

He's got quirks, but highly workable, unlike the anatolian.
Weirdly protective of the utv. Pees on everything.....every. thing. Prefers the rabbit he grew up on. Ignores the horse track hot wire, but does stay put with woven fencing. So needy.
He's done excellent with births, lambs, calves.

Since day one, an excellent dog. Never, ever, not even if you paid me millions, am I going back to anatolian or another breed. Great Pyrenees or GP×Maremma only.
Fine with chickens, never had an issue with them.
And was easy enough to teach to stay away from gates through very few as-it-comes-up moments. Stays out until told to come through. One of the few extremely important things for dogs to know! So proud of him.
