So I wanted to check which other types of sprouts work well with ducks besides sunflower seeds?

Sunflower seeds work great with them. Its been going good.

BUT its very hard to do boss because if you don't have every single thing perfect they will rot so fast and with no warning. (Frustrating.) So I want to look at alternatives.

(And can you use a bleach solution with water over boss sprouts and other sprouts to prevent mold? People say to use hydrogen peroxide, but hydrogen peroxide is so expensive and in little bottles...such that I wonder if a reduced bleach water solution could still work if the bleach was reduced enough. And what would be the right ratio?)

I feel like with the rising cost of food, if I don't get a handle on this there could be big problems.

You could just try flat out fermenting all your feed instead of sprouting. Easier and yields much the same effect of adding probiotics and more usable nutrition for the birds. Also saves you a good bit of money...most who have run the numbers report nearly half the normal feed consumption/use as feeding dry grains.

It's easy to do and I've been doing it since 2012 for all birds, all seasons. Much less fiddly than sprouting.
